If you’re comfortable leaving a garage code in your delivery instructions, we can then deliver into your garage if no-one is present.

Our delivery truck is heavy and wide. We can see what we can do but ultimately if we think that driving on grass will possible cause rutting it will not be possible for us.  Burning

SBA_8395.jpg

I’m having trouble starting my fire, what should I do?

There are a couple things you can try. Start your fire with smaller pieces of kindling or use an easily lit material like newspaper, birch bark or a fire starter. Make sure that you have good airflow into you fire pit or wood burning stove, this also means building the fire so pieces of wood have space between them. If you’re burning in a wood stove, ensure your chimney is open and not blocked. There are many other factors, but these are the main solutions that we have helped customers with.

How do I know what size wood will fit my fireplace?

Our standard firewood cut is 16” long which is the American standard. We do offer other size cuts the are smaller than this, these we call custom cuts and can be found on our website here. In the process of cutting firewood there is a margin of variance from the length listed. For example, you may have a couple pieces of firewood longer or shorter than 16” in your package when ordering our standard cut.

What is the best place to store my wood?

Since our wood is kiln-dried and free of any insects, you can pretty much store it anywhere indoors. If you prefer to store it outdoors, just make sure you keep the top covered with the sides open, so it has some room to breathe.  Firewood does carry a smell that some people like, and other do not. Keep this in mind if you’re planning to store the firewood inside.

Do you provide any racks to store the firewood?

While we don’t currently provide any racks, we do provide some pretty sweet bags you can store the wood in.
